Sayrah Garrison has been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching since 2008. She is clear and confident in her teaching style and emphasizes the breath to help students remain present in their practice moment by moment.
Over the course of her teaching career, Sayrah has offered yoga for at risk youth and other special populations in need, yoga for seniors, hot yoga, chair yoga, hatha yoga and more. She has been a featured yoga teacher at several health & wellness retreats in the SF Bay Area and has also taught yoga and mindfulness to mental health service providers.
In her classes, she focuses on developing strength and flexibility, rigor and relaxation to encourage a balanced nervous system as well as overall health and wellness. She provides modifications to ensure her classes are accessible to beginners and challenging to advanced yogis.
